Fishnet tights and pantyhose are one of those things that may go in and out of style in terms of what the fashion magazines say, but for those with the sass to pull them off with confidence or those with an inner vixen who comes out in the bedroom; fishnet stockings are ALWAYS a good idea!

Fishnet stockings have a very vague history to them. Depending on your age, you may think that Madonna was the first to wear fishnet pantyhose. Again depending on the year you were born, your first recollection of fishnet stockings and tights may be from the Rocky Horror Picture Show! I personally think back to the time of pin ups and burlesque stars and even a time when fishnet stockings, suspenders and such were only worn by ladies of the night—not based on my age but rather a love of fashion and pop culture.

Thankfully as time and fashion has progressed; fishnet is being enjoyed more widely in the way of black fishnet tights and pantyhose, sexy thigh high fishnet stockings and even in a fishnet body stocking for those that like to sex things up in the bedroom. Women of all ages can find a way to incorporate the look of fishnet into their wardrobes without being sneered at or mistaken for someone who is less-than-savory!

The look of fishnet isn’t only a way to make an outfit look trendy, but going back to it’s original roots of being something favored by women who worked in the industries that had to do with turning men on; fishnet pantyhose and other fishnet goodies are still a great way to get your man to notice you and really get his heart racing! There is just something über-hot about fishnets as it is and even more so these days thanks to spandex making them fit even better over your every curve! You don’t have to stick to fishnet tights or pantyhose to turn him on either because the selection is incredible these days! Consider some fishnet thigh highs or some erotic lingerie made of fishnet like a body stocking or lace top. Something that men all seem to find to be the epitome of sexy is a pair of fishnet seamed stockings. MEOW! Or what about black thigh high fishnet seamed stockings, suspenders (also known as garters) and high heels. How hot would that be?!

Even if you’re still a little hesitant about wearing fishnets or even seamed stockings to work because you still find them a tad campy for your taste, it doesn’t mean that there is anything wrong with bringing out your inner vamp at home! The next time you’re shopping for stockings, pantyhose, nylons or even just a pair of footless tights; take a walk on the wild side and at least take a peek at some of the fishnet goodies or other sexy patterned tights. Maybe you can start venturing out of your comfort zone in baby steps – first with some color like a pair of black tights or even red tights and then maybe onto some sexy wear like a fishnet top or body stocking or even a piece of fishnet clothes to wear under your suit or for your lover. I’m sure it won’t be long until you’re ready to jump into the world of fishnet feet first!
